We hope you enjoy the Hot Case Central experience this session.

Please be mindful that The Exam will be hosted in Melbourne this sitting and therefore lock out rules will apply to centres, as determined by CICM.

Thank you to all centres that take part in making Hot Case Central possible by offering your time to teach and support candidates.

Hot Case Sessions will start to be released shortly – please be mindful of the code of conduct below and that different centres have different rules, that you are expect to adhere to.

Important information for Candidates
- These guidelines have been developed over the years as we have learnt how to make HCC more efficient and fair.
Please remember that registrations and attendance is monitored.

- Only subscribe to Hot Case Central Sessions if you are sitting THIS clinical exam (are carrying a mark or have sat the written and are awaiting results).

- Ensure that you can attend prior to subscribing to a session – repeated last minute cancellations limiting other’s opportunities is not fair

- Take into account travel time and that sessions rarely run exactly to time…. It is not possible to cross the city in 15 minutes!

- Contact the listed responsible consultant / fellow 48hr PRIOR to confirm and receive attendance instructions

- For centres that offer more than one session / week – please only attend one of the two. This helps ensure equity of access and maximise learning for yourself.

Thank you for your help in making HCC work! Remember that centres that are frustrated by lack of adherence to the above guidelines are well within their rights to remove themselves from HCC if the pleasure of teaching becomes more burdensome than enjoyable.
